Present ------- ### Mike Otterman, AIPR Communications Director Mike Otterman is a graduate of Boston University (B.S., Journalism), University of Sydney (M.A., Peace and Conflict Studies) and was Visiting Scholar at the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, Sydney. He has worked with NGOs across the globe, including [Jubilee Australia](http://www.jubileeaustralia.org/) and [Catalyst](http://www.catalyst.org), and is the author of two books, _[American Torture: From the Cold War to Abu Ghraib and Beyond](http://www.amazon.com/dp/0745326706)_ (2007) and _[Erasing Iraq: The Human Costs of Carnage](http://www.amazon.com/Erasing-Iraq-Human-Costs-Carnage/dp/0745328970)_ (2010). ### Dominique Fraser, Guest Blogger **Dominique Fraser** is a current post-graduate student at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Her Honours thesis examines peacekeeping in Africa and the relationship between the African Union and the UN. Her research interests also include mass atrocity crime prevention and the Responsibility to Protect (R2P). Ms. Fraser received her Bachelor of Arts with a major in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Queensland in 2013. She was president of the R2P Student Coalition at her university in 2012 and upon graduating undertook an internship at the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, where she worked in the areas of research, advocacy and country monitoring.
