Project focus: Building sustainable, rights-based migration responses by embedding an atrocity prevention lens into the work of institutions and strengthening resilience.

  • Training & Capacity Building
    • Online training courses at the intersection of migration governance and atrocity prevention.
    • Annual workshops with key stakeholders from government, civil society, and academia on topics covering migration management, human rights, and mental health.
  • Coordination & Dialogue
    • Engagement of federal, cantonal state actors, representatives of local and national NGOs, academia, and international organisations.
    • First-ever “Living Library” with refugee testimonies.
    • Reporting mechanism on migrant rights abuses based on intersectoral consultations.
  • Policy & Advocacy
    • Alumni-led advocacy: Court of BiH accepts cultural mediators in processes involving people on the move.
    • Ombudsperson’s Office developed a new prevention mechanism.
    • NGOs advanced local advocacy on migrant rights.
